A beautiful vintage Tiffany & Co. diamond and emerald perching owl brooch set in 18k yellow gold. The brooch depicts a lovely perching owl who is sat upright on a textured yellow gold branch. The owl has been beautifully hand crafted and cleverly detailed to clearly show naturalistic feathers and facial features. The owl is pave set to the chest and face with round brilliant cut diamonds and is accented with two vibrant green emerald eyes. Due to the size and design this brooch would be a perfect addition to a jumper and/or coat. The brooch is secured to reverse with a hinged pin and barrel clasp fitting. It measures exactly 2.2 x 1.9 centimetres from the widest parts) and has a gross weight of 7.3 grams. There is a total diamond weight of 0.70 carats which are estimated to be G-H in colour with VS1 clarity. There is an estimated emerald weight of 0.06 carats. The brooch is signed and hallmarked to the back 18K, TIFFANY & CO.
