A rare vintage Cartier panther pin brooch set in 18k white gold. This beautiful piece depicts Cartier’s iconic panther motif and is made of solid 18k white gold. The panther face is set with two round cut emerald eyes and is secured to reverse with a roll-on pin stopper. Due to the design and size, this pin could be worn for a variety of occasions. It could easily be worn on a coat for everyday wear, or alternatively, worn on a lapel or blouse for more special occasions. For size reference the pin measures 3.5 x 1.3 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 8.8 grams (pin stopper included). The pin is signed and hallmarked Cartier, 750 (for 18k gold), with the serial number 605231. Circa 1995.
