An exceptional Van Cleef & Arpels diamond brooch c.1950. The central cluster of seven round brilliant cut diamonds are encircled by a half outer curve of marquise diamonds. The central round brilliant cut diamond weighs 0.65ct whilst the surrounding diamonds are approx 0.50ct each. The marquise surround is comprised of eleven graduated stones, the largest weighing 0.50ct diamond and the smallest weighing approximately 0.22ct. The central motif is framed with baguette cut bows and ribbons. All diamonds in this piece are excellent colour and clarity, G+, VS+. Double pin fitting with Van Cleef & Arpels stamp and stock number. The total diamond weight of the brooch is approximately 14.00ct, due to the intricacy of the setting it is not possible to accurately calculate exact weights of each diamonds. The brooch comes complete with a presentation box and our own certificate of authenticity.
