A collectible, vintage, 18 karat yellow gold Libra zodiac pendant, by Van Cleef & Arpels. Made by Georges L’Enfant, 1970s, France. Stamped VCA, French hallmarks, 750, maker’s mark for Georges’ L’Enfant, numbered. The pendant measures 1.38′ x 1′ An Intimate astrological treasure. Georges L’Enfant made jewelry for Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, among other high house jewelers. Founded in 1899, the company developed a masterly reputation. It came to be recognized among the most accomplished goldsmiths, manufacturing jewelers, and chain-makers with a house style that emphasized bright polish and textured gold. This pendant is part of the original VCA zodiac pendants issued in the late 20th century and is highly collectible. Please note that this pendant is sold as a pendant only.
