CARTIER Caresse d’Orchidees Diamond Orchid Necklace in 18k Yellow and White Gold. A Cartier Caresse D’ Orchidees necklace of openwork design with pavé set brilliant round diamonds. This delicate cable chain starts at the nape of the neck and cascades into three stands with intermittent diamonds peppered throughout, giving way to a family of orchid florets. The recognizable cluster is intended to asymmetrically lay on the neck as a festoon, dropping into a minimal tassel of decorative passementerie. Diamond weight approx. 3.50 carats total. Inner circumference measures approx. 15″, width of chain 0.04″ with diamond bezels 0.13″ in diameter. Cluster of orchids measure approx. 2.80″ in length, 1.5″ at widest point tapering to 0.60″, height of 0.25″ off the neck. Pendant tassles measures 2.7″ below cluster. Includes “750” hallmark, numbered and Signed “Cartier”, circa early 21st century.
