A Cartier 1895 Diamond Solitaire Necklace. This diamond solitaire necklace is a part of the ‘1895’ collection by Cartier. The solitaire claw set round brilliant cut diamond weighs approximately 0.30 carat and is the central focus of the piece. The necklace is made of 18 carat white gold. The chain is stamped with the original Cartier makers marks on the clasp, French control mark and hallmarked London, 2002. The original Cartier pouch and certificate of authenticity are included. Date: – 2002. Maker: – Cartier. Measurement: – The necklace measures approximately 16 & 1/8 inches (41.05 cm) in length when fastened. The solitaire diamond measures approximately 4.5mm x 2.8mm. Weight: – 6.7 grams. Condition: – The necklace and diamond solitaire are in good condition. Minor surface scratches to the links commensurate with age. Gemstone treatment is unknown.
