A lovely pair of Cartier London Art Deco square cufflinks set in 9k yellow gold. Each cufflink depicts a square motif with four simple hand carved lines across the face. Each face is securely connected to one another by a bar chain fitting. Due to their design these cufflinks would be perfect to wear for a variety of occasions. They could easily be worn for everyday use or dressed up for more special occasions. Cartier created a range of 9k gold pieces such as cufflinks and rings in the late Art Deco period so that they were more affordable to the public at the time. These cufflinks can be considered as a little piece of history. They are in remarkable condition and come in their original condition with a lovely natural wear/patina to them. Each cufflink face measures 1.2 x 1.4 centimetres and the pair have a combined weight of 12.4 grams. Each pair is hallmarked for 9k gold and signed ‘Cartier London’. Serial number 2483.
